The Interactive Marketing Research Conference (IMRC) is the premier event for academic researchers and industry practitioners dedicated to exploring the latest trends, innovations, and methodologies associated with the rapidly expanding field of interactive marketing.

2024 edition of the conference will be held at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, on May 13-15, 2024.

IMRC’s relatively small scale ensures a vibrant and intimate discussion on managerially relevant interactive marketing problems and multiple networking opportunities for researchers and practitioners in a boutique conference setting.

This year, in collaboration with Journal of Interactive Marketing (JNM), we will have a special track associated with a subsequent special issue that seeks to explore the cross-disciplinary approaches to solving various challenges marketers, consumers and societies face today. The special track represents IMRC’s tradition for a timely and highly interactive discussion of new research ideas, preliminary findings, and work-in-progress. Participation in the special track is strongly encouraged but not mandatory for submission. JNM Special Issue submission deadline is October 31, 2024 (please see JNM CFP for details).

Venue, Getting There and Accommodations:

The conference will be held at the Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex (ISEC) at 805 Columbus Ave, Boston.

We recommend using public transit (including the MBTA Green Line and Orange Line trains and a number of buses) to get to the venue. Uber and Lyft are also readily available and offer relatively affordable and easy transportation options. More information about getting to and navigating the campus can be found here.

The venue is located within walking distance or a short drive from many hotels in the greater Boston area; you may find this list helpful. We also recommend checking Airbnb for more affordable options.
